A lot of busy work is involved in this class. Sometimes we had 4 assignments due in one week. She does let you redo assignments though so it is not that hard to get a 4.0. Her tests are awful, but she will let you redo the short answer and essay questions after.

Awful can't describe this instructor. Run don't walk away. Could be great class! Complains about grammar but doesn't use it correctly. Journals are busy work, not meaningful. She has no clue what she is talking about. Talks down to students. RUN RUN RUN and take at main campus if possible

If you want to learn how to use a word processor to create lesson plans. Or Powerpoint and excel...then take the class. If not, run! Since this is the 21st century, I suggest you run. Consider taking the class at Main. Don't waste your $$$ and it's not an easy/fun class! Time for someone to retire!

I agree with all the negative comments! I was looking forward to a technology class. This was nothing but a methods course with a lot of writing. Very bad class, very mean teacher, very bad teacher!!!

Grade on things she doesn't teach & we haven't experienced. Ex:write comp. use contract. We have no exp with this or real world encounters. Wants specific situations, not generalities. Expects correct grammar, yet doesn't use it. Claims you can't quote someone even if you cite because its plagarism. Too much lecture. S/B seminar not full semester

All the previous comments stand correct. Easy assignments, but lots of lecture and doesnt really know much to back up the assignment. Class is pointless, but attendance is mandatory. Grades alot on grammer, but doesnt use correct grammer herself

I was very excited for this class, but found the instructor to have very little useful knowledge about technology tools. She turned it into more of a methods course - probably as she can't speak to the current technology. I felt this was a huge waste of time - albeit an easy class. Very disapointed, as I thnk this is a very important subject.

Her course does not match the class description at all.. she spends more time on learning theory then teaching educational software. She is very unclear about her expectations, and there is a lot of busywork/writing (journals, class responses, etc.) assigned. This class was completely useless for a future teacher.

Joyce is a great teacher that expects only the best from her students. The class is demanding but you learn concepts and practices that you will refer to in teaching. SHe is helpful and respectful. I would take every course she taught if given the chance. She is a wonderful teacher.

Joyce treats you like a 4 year old. She expects A LOT out of her students. Her test are so long that you have to take them home after class to finish them. She relies on the assistant to teach because she really doesn't know much about computers.

Class was fun, you can redo all of your work if you want a better grade. The only bad part is the book. She is very helpful, assignments are easy and really geared towards education. Extremely nice and caring teacher!
