8am - not so fun... other than that, pretty good professor. He knows what he's talking about but sometimes can't explain it well. A lot of the readings are in English which makes it easier. Tests are pretty easy, and so is the paper, just ask him what outside sources he'd recommend. All in all, for a UCI mandated-to-take class, its pretty good.

I know he can be boring, but I lovelovelove what he has to say; he presents interesting ideas and is a hippie at heart. His reading materials were , for the most part, thought-provoking and were not a constant struggle to stay awake reading. Okay that's all.

The worst lecturer ever. He's not an effective communicator or teacher. He made readings I thought were interesting seem boring the next day! I can't believe they brought him back again. If it hadn't been for my section, I would have dropped during his section; it was THAT bad.
