She is an excellent professor! She will say things straight to your face, so just beware lol. Overall, she is extremely helpful and will help you if you don't understand the material. 7 quizzes drops lowest and STUDY because can be hard if you don't. 2 lab exams and a lab report..not bad. TAKE HER!

What to say aside from terrible. All powepoint i would have rather waited than waste money taking her class. Its the truth, dont take her, she doesnt explain anything and the book doesnt help either. She is a snob about her "knowledge". Had to drop due to idiocy of my teacher. Watch out

Dr Gordon is cool. Sometimes I felt as though she talked to fast in lecture and it made it difficult to take notes. Gives Lab quizzes that are extra credit. Tests are difficult if you don't study, don't come to class, and don't listen in lecture. I got a D because I'm a slacker! Lab report was a killer! She counted off or very small things.

Dr. Gordon is the most pompous and know-it-all teacher I have ever had. She reads from her own crazy notes with hardly any organization. Extra credit quizzes are nice and so are lab practicals. But the tests EVERY OTHER WEEK are ridiculous! She needs precise answers because she is quite snobbish about her knowledge on the subject!

Biology in general is extremely hard but she was very knowledgeable about the information she was covering. The tests were particularly hard though. Don't expect to have a social life and get a A in this class. Overall though she was a great teacher.

This lady is not your mother and has no interest in spoon-feeding you. She's pleasant enough but not at all compassionate about your deficiencies. She is fair, thorough and uncomprimising. Lectures are stiff, detailed and direct to the point. She's getting ready to retire. Too bad--you knew you had to study with her.

Good professor just tape record her lecture, and highlight the text while she talks and you will get an A. She will give a review before lab practicals so pay attention. She also gives quizzes instead of test that help instead of 3 test and final. She gives 7 or 8 quizzes and you can drop a quiz.

This teacher is not hard if you apply yourself. She tells you what is going to be on her tests during lecture every day in class she is very leinent on her grading if you seem to know what you are talking about. She is a great teacher!

I didn't think she was that hard. She does reviews and goes over all the material; she even gives extra credit. If you don't apply yourself, tough luck- it'll be your problem not hers. I recommend her for any hard-working biology major.
