Personally, i didn't do well on any of her tests. But, she makes class interesting even though she keeps you to the last possible second. Her lectures are never boring and shes very loud and outgoing

A great professor. She's really funny and shows videos that actually make you understand the material better. The tests can be a little tricky because it's mostly from her notes but there's also a few questions that you have to have read the textbook to know. Lots of notes but it's interesting stuff so it's not too bad.

As said in other reviews, her grading is objective. She actually said in class that if she was in a bad mood she would give us lower grades. The class isn't bad, she makes it kind of interesting. This is not an easy A class. You will have to work for it.

She isn't a horrible professor but can be extremely annoying at times. She often tries to mimic young children's voices and it is unbearable. She's very loud and finds things to be funny when they are not at all.

Nothing is objective in her class, everything is her opinion. She has no guidelines or rubric, no grading policy. she will change grades last minute nothing is written down. If you speak to her about getting a good grade she will make it harder than it has to be. Her papers are graded at graduate level. Please stay away!!!!!!

Very good professor. I had her for Ed Psych. She was clear and I definitely learned a lot. She gives a lot of writing, expected for a writing intensive class. She drops 2 of the lowest, but nothing is 100% she likes to change things up and prove her teaching methods and practice what she teaches.

child devolpment was one of my fav classes i have taken at farmingdale. this class is so interesting and prof levine is so funny, entertaining & knowledgable. looked forward to this class everyday. tests can be alittle challenging but if u just take good notes your fine. deff reccomend her.

She teaches based on her opinion and views on the subject. Disagrees most of the time with the textbook, then tells us to study it. Tests are made by her and are very confusing. And she is always late to class. No extra credit is given and she doesn't drop the lowest grade. Don't take if you want to get a good grade and/or learn something.

shes a little quirky. your allowed to miss up to six classes which is good, but i would go to as many as you can because it will deff help with the tests. we only took 3 tests. she uses the scratch off tests which is good. gives you extra credit which helps. read the text and take good notes and it shouldn't be that hard of a class.

Child Developement Psychology... worst class ever. Tests are based more of what was in the text book than anything else. Test are hard, but partial credit is given. The only homework is to read the book. Theres only 4 tests, and that's all you get. No extra credit assignments were given. Attendance is mandatory, but you can miss up to 6 classes.

Great professor and always asking if any "thoughts, comments or questions". If you have a question, ask it. One of the best teachers I every had. Take the Conference course, PSY257W, Teaching Psy/Writing Intensive. Best thing I ever did, amazing experiences, and for someone who said she doesn't give "A"'s in this course, SHE DOES.

She is a little quirky but a very good professor. Very few test questions are from the text. I had a 90+ average and on the last day of class she told myself and 2 other students to take the final off! Very nice! Read the chapters and study the notes- you'll get at least a B, a little more effort will get you an A.

one of my favorite teachers, shes realy funny and makes the class intresting. i did have to read the textbook to do well on the tests but other than that the tests are pretty easy, just study. =)
