Mr. Mitchell is much better than most of the previous raters give him credit for. He is very helpful if you go to him and ask. This is college folks and your teachers arent babysitters. Ask questions rather than complain. I hate english and Mr. Mitchell made it easy and more enjoyable than expected.

Took his class a few years ago. I am not sure if this guy has changed, but back then he didn't give any feedback. We thought we were heading in the right direction in the class, but we got s....tty grades. The man is authoritative and will grade your papers as if you are a PhD candidate. Sucks1

Mike Mitchell is a good guy and a good teacher, albeit with a LOUD voice! He knows his stuff and teaches it well. Does demand a reasonable standard of written english on the essays (that's sometimes a hard call with college students these days).
