She is very nasty, unsympathetic and cruel to students. Has not been on the floor in so long and uses antiquated and outdated terminology. Also, her wig really is terrible-looks like road kill and smells

Try and avoid this professor. I could tell by the brief email conversations we had, she has no interest in teaching the students. It seems like you are on her****list from the begining for no apparent reason. I received an A in the online course by studying around 2 hours a week. Its straight foward material.

I cannot describe the numbness of my brain while sitting through her class. If she was my nurse while I was in a hospital, I would cut my wrist so I could be transfered to the psych ward.But you cannot avoid her if you are a nursing student here. GOOD LUCK!

Her demeanor towards students seems a mix of contempt and dismissal. She is dispassionate, uncreative, and downright stodgy, which is almost criminal considering the dynamic field of which she instructs. Shame on her!

The first lecture exam and lab exam are killers. study hard, but this is where your average will drop. after you get through those two exams...you'll be okay. Lowin is difficult and often not fair, but she has a lot of knowledge on her subject.
