Amazing Professor! The material is transformational and demanding. And it's worth every minute and every penny. I worked very hard to become a better writer under her guidance. Make sure to take class with her while at Naropa!

Judith is an AMAZING teacher. She can be intimidating at first but it is only because she is incredibly knowledgeable. She expects a lot of her students and I appreciate being pushed beyond what I think I can do. She is fantastic one on one. Naropa is lucky to have her!

Judith is amazing - probably one of the smartest teachers I've ever had the joy of learning with. However, be warned she is helpful but not overly friendly, smart but not kind, and is always brutely honest to the point of not caring if she hurts your feelings. NOT an easy grader - you will learn a lot but it will not be an easy road.

She is a pretty solid teacher. I find her very comfortable to be around and understanding. The class can be a little slow and boring, but the topics usually tend to be interesting. There is a paper due every week, and she grades it rather tough for an intro class. Overall better than most teachers, but dont expect to have an ephinanies !

Tibetan Buddhism has been my favorite class this semester. She is a very friendly, compassionate woman and has a lot of experience in her field. I highly recommend taking one of her classes. Just remember to keep up with your reading, or you'll be extremely confused.

Eek. I was in Judith's first undergrad class--ended up having to drop. She told me to turn in several missing assignments, then called my cell phone a few hours later to let me know she wouldn't take them. Moral of the story is turn your stuff in on time, but I found Judith's policies inconsistient and very harsh for an intro class!

Outstanding class, highly relevant to my life and field of study. I am a better writer now, and I believe I am simply closer to enlightenment because of her class! I think that is a dam high compliment, but ya know, it's all emptiness.

Here's another stellar prof who only has one rating...Come on people...she deserves 5s across the board! I had here for several Buddhist Studies courses and am still benefiting from what I learned from her almost 20 years later...
