Just sits and talks, no visual. Discussion. I believe he understands the material. Very hard to gain understanding with, without the discussion. Hardest class I have taken. Unsure of his teaching style, transforming in front of us from heretical, uncompromising scholar into a wisened, compassionate practitioner. Trying very hard to carry on lineage

Comment:

Reggie teaches from a scholarly knowledge of Buddhism and a practitioner's knowledge of his heart. His energy for his students is scattered in many directions, and he is hard to get office hours with, but I look forward to my next class with him. He does a great meditation retreat. It drove me crazy, but I think I needed to go there. Wife is cool
