Nice lady. She's a little spacey but she cares about her students & the subject. DO NOT BUY ALL THE BOOKS BEFORE CLASS. You'll used about 3 of them. Got C's & D's on quizzes and a C on the midterm and got a B+ as a final grade. She seems to know her stuff on Greek mythology.

Her class is such a joke. She makes up grades, midterm I BSed the whole thing got a B+ with no markings on it. Also the day after our 15 pg paper was due she posted grades. I think I read the first book thinking we would go over it. Of course not, it was story time with the first two chapters. Rest of the texts we watched movies for.

This class was a breeze! She goes over everythign you need to know about all the books in class. I would highly recommend this teacher... sometimes you wonder what planet she came from but she is really nice and she will honestly and sincerly answer the most ridiculous questions you could possibly ask.. Gem of a woman!

reviews don't lie. worst teacher i've ever had in my life. she will teach you nothing. my favorite part so far is that she expects you to write a 15 page final paper on the books we never discussed and it counts for 1/3 of your grade. she is a walking a joke. i would laugh if my grade wasn't in the hands of such a inept educator. stay away!

Took her for Women in Literature seminar. It's true, she's very spacey and in her own world. There wasn't much for conversation in our class, but you could tell she was passionate about the subject. She cuts everyone so much slack- late papers and late exams are OK. Assigns 1/2 a book to read every night, but never goes over the whole thing.

She is so loopy! Do not even bother buying the last 2 or 3 books because you will never end up reading them. Tests are half multiple choice and half essay, but her questions are so messed up that there could be multiple answers! But it is not a hard class, and the books are interesting

Mind numbingly boring but she's very nice and I hear if people actually participate the class isn't that bad, nobody did in my class though. I didn't do well for various reasons but the material isn't that hard. If you approach her she will be very very helpful, she doesn't want to fail anybody.

She is a gem of a professor. Attend class, take good notes and you will do well. Requirements were short quizzes periodically on books read, midterm had quiz like questions and an essay quest, final was same format. What made class interesting was when everyone read books and participated in class discussion.

She makes you buy like 10 books and you read 5. Spending 4 months on the Oddysey is a waste a time. She tells you to read and then reads what you just read in class the next day. Her tests are like high school...she asks questions, you write them down and then have your neighbor grade it. Horrible!
