Comment:

Hormones and Behavior seems like an interesting subject, but a dull book and a dull professor make it boring. The tests are complex and tough to study for. I got a B, but even after doing all the lengthy readings it was hard to predict what would be on the exam. She also makes jokes comparing men to animals, but for some reason no one ever laughs.

the worst teacher of rutgers...ever. avoid her at all costs. she stares at the teleprompter and mumbles and reads off slides that aren't even hers. she's boring and incapable of answering questions about the topic. i got a c and regret taking that class since i didn't learn anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

i didn't even buy the book for this class and found it to be pretty easy to get a B just by going over the slides she puts online and wikipedia-ing things that i didn't understand fully. i think she was awesome and really knew what she was talking about. exam questions were worded awkwardly but there's a good curve which helps.

This lady is awesome! She is funny and sarcastic and really knows the material. Exams can be tough if you don't study. She put notes online that mean nothing unless you attend lectures and she posts study guides for the exam. Easy and interesting class!

thank god she's retiring after this year. made an interesting class (abnormal psych) monotonous and lame. heavy on the book, says abnormal psych isn't her strong point. tests pretty straightforward w/ tricky wording at some points. attendence isnt necessary but a bit of extra cred at the end if you attended 4/6 of the last lectures

OMG HORRIBLE...she gives you the lecture beforehand but the notes are so scrambled that you can't even follow what she is following even if you tried reading the book...only took one test before i dropped the class and when i asked about grade, told me i had an A when i got an F....really unorganized

Exams are ridiculous I barely passed this class with a B, and that is because I studied on my own instead of listening to her talk. Worthless professor, the should do away with her but future students are gonna have to suffer because she has tenure. Worthless teacher!!

I was really looking forward to taking this class but after having Stern as a prof. she totally ruined it for me. She is a boring lecturing, always going to fast on her slides, she's **** and sarcastic. She gives you a review for her exams but you still have to study hard to pass. Think twice before taking her class.

wow. Hardest class ever. I am a senior psych major and this was impossible to me. I went to every f'n class and ended up with a c...barely. She is a horrible teacher, has mood swings, the book is UNREADABLE. her notes are TERRIBLE.the exams are impossible. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS@!!!!!
