She was our driver for field studies and was definitely enjoyable. The actual lectures are a bit boring, especially if you`ve taken a stats course before, but she took the time to help us with our project and took a lot of interest in our subject. one of the best geog profs!

She's witty in the way only dry, British humour can be, which made her classes very enjoyable. The problematic was in the assignments which were unclear regarding content but had a page long explanation on how to save a map. Her TA was unyielding, unhelpful, and condescending. Shame, I will not take a class with her again due to her TA.

Very liberally biased. Very pro-social services. If you are a conservative you will loath this prof. Also, her lectures are boring, full of mostly useless stats, and both of the assignments are too strict for 3rd year. No creative wiggle room.

I think people are judging her too harsh. She is a fair marker, and while she's tough, she also is very clear of what she expects. Extremely nice and helpful outside of class. I'd love to take more classes with her!

Enthusiastic about her subject. In a smaller class she takes her time and makes sure students understand the material. She gets alittle dry when the whole lecture consists of tables of numbers and she explains each number... but when shes not doing that shes great. VERY helpful out of class and eash to talk to.

Interesting topic, easy to get a good grade, but the lectures could use some work. Knowledge of the subject is quite good, but madly copying down from overheads is not conducive to class discussion and this is a subject where class discussion should be an integral part of the course. What's wrong with posting the lecture notes online?
