So, there will be ONLY be 4 exams and the online mcgrawhill thingy. The homework is online as well as the text book. If you do the homework you'll pass the class. She doesnt have discussions. Responds to the emails the best. She's okay. BUT SHE IS THE ONLY ONE AT NSU THAT TEACHES THIS CLASS. SOOO DEAL WITH IT!!!!

Horrible boring, i lasted 30 minutes of the first class and never went back (besides test days), i only read half the chapters and still got an A-...read all the chapters or go to class and you'll be fine

The most boring human on the planet. Has NO awareness of her students of any kind. One example, advertising effectiveness is judged by cost per thousand viewers. Even though there was not a single student who required any help with the concept, she beat that dead horse for TWENTY MINUTES!!! Any one of her four hour lectures could easily be covered

She's really extremely boring. The day after the superbowl- she made us sit and watch every superbowl commercial then leave, she wastes your time. So I rarely went to class and I just used her review sheets & I read the book to study- I got a C in the class. A higher grade was possible but I'd rather take the C then die of boredom-

Tests based off of book, must read. There was a software simulation for a ad campaign and a paper on the advertising choices you made and why. Group promo plan with lots of small reports - not too much group work. Three exams - out of the book. Some extra credit as long as you show up to class to get it. Tries to make class fun.

We are college students, not elementary school kids. We can READ. There is NO need for her to write EVERYTHING on powerpoint. Classes are SO boring, I want to climb walls. Tests are tricky. BORING BORING BORING - Not an easy A, but not a hard one, either. She is SUPER subjective and plays favorites quite a bit. Nice lady, bad teacher.

Dr Harris is very nice, makes class very interesting, NOT boring. She plays lots of funny commercials which breaks up the class nice. Tests are all multiple choice, not too hard but not easy. Some questions are tricky. Study and you will get an A.

she is horrible. She's boring, her tests are taken strictly from the text book's tests bank and she guages them of how difficult the question is written. She's obviously not succesful in the real world, and it shows it what she calls teaching. Horrible

She is so BORING!!! She reads you the notes she puts online...thats it! Class seems to last forever because she talks so monotone. Her tests are trick questions and the quizzes are easy. I got a B+ but it was the worst class ever.

doesnt teach anything new - reads directly from slides which are nots you can print off web ct... boring as anything.. i like marketing but this class didn't do nearly what it could have for the subject.... have fun, bring something to keep you occupied - makes test and quiz questions very tricky so it throws you off

Her class is tough, but it's not that bad. The key to doing well in her class is to read and understand the book. Her tests can be grueling, just make sure to read the assigned chapters at least twice. She gives a 15 point curve, but the total possible points are 1000. So, 15 doesn't help too much.
