Professor Rosenthal was one of the most inspiring, knowledgable and inspirational professors at the university. She has real world experience. She is passionate about her field of expertise. She gives students clear examples of other cultures by sharing and showing her experiences across the globe. Some professor teach, this professor is a doer.

Love her. She has a lot of experience in what she teaches her students. She genuinely is interested in each and everyone of her students. Be prepared to comment in class, THINK, and expand your mind. She's wonderful!

She is not the easiest teacher and is not going to just give you an A. You have to work for it. I got an A in her class despite the fact I hated the material and didn't understand any of it. I am a hardworker and for those that say is is bad, I believe it's because they only showed up for class and expected an A and weren't willing to work for it.

Jusy- people either love her or hate her. She can be very abstract at times, but that's something I have an easy time understanding so I loved her classes. She is respectful to the max of students and their existing knowledge base. She was inspiring and that is something many professors just cannot do- inspire students!

Professor Rosenthal single-handedly made me realize that Anthro is a joke, destroying any interest I ever had for the subject. She is too vain, unapproachable and uncaring to be a professor. She is also disrespectful to students DO NOT TAKE ANTHRO WITH HER!!!

This class was wonderful! Even though it was an online class, Judy did a great deal to ensure that actual discussions were able to take place on the discussion boards. Whereas so often discussion assignments seem forced from most students, there were many moments in this class where discussions of the materials became lengthy and interesting!

I really loved the readings, lectures, and discussions for this class. At times the weekly assignments did seem to be a bit much, but they were actually really helpful when it came to doing the mid-term and final essays, as well as with weekly class discussions. In retrospect I thought those assignments were a great idea.

Dr. Rosenthal has to be my favorite instructor at this university. She has so much expirience in the field of anthropology and is always willing to share interesting stories! The books and class structure were also wonderful. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is interested in learning more about the world.
