She is an actual sweetheart and very passionate. However, there is a tremendous amount of homework and reading. She is a tough grader and doesn't give room to makeup or redo work. She means well and answers emails really fast, but there is just too much work and little consideration for other classes or work.

She takes attendance seriously. Gives a final exam on readings. Doesn't really take into consideration your perspective. Is sometimes unclear in her feedback. Must do all the readings every week and comment forums. You might have trouble with the readings if you're not into english. Easy if you work hard but wouldn't take again. Too much work.

I LOVED THIS CLASS! I took this class online and it was easy! All you have to do is sign in every Sunday, participate in all of the forums, do all 3 papers, and ace the final. Everything is based off of your readings. I had to email her a couple of times to clarify some things, but she's really good at emailing back. DO YOUR WORK AND YOU'LL DO FINE

I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. She is not clear on 99.9% of her assignments and does not take your personal perspectives into consideration. Lessons and readings are extremely long and she takes attendance very serious even though it is an online class. It will be hard earning an A no matter how hard you try.

This professor is absolutely amazing. She is willing to help her students, gives you opportunities to see her for any issues you're having. Yes, she is a fair grader. If you work hard, you'll get the grade you deserve. One research paper, rarely any written hw, but you must read all stories assigned...or just read it the day of class on your laptop

this prof isnt as bad as people say she is. her class isnt realy boring. the literature we read in class is interesting if you enjoy reading about love because she conencts everything to love. the midterm for me was kind of hard because it was more of the things she said in class as opposed to the literature so attandance will get you a good grade.

Womans V.I.L. course DISTANCE LEARNING. Great teacher, alot of work but she is always there to help you and is very understanding. The reading is something you would read on your own, if you like to read. It is a good amount of reading and discussions post on each reading. 3 papers, and 1 final. I would reccomend her. To those of you who thought she was unfair or too hard: YOU ARE LAZY. She is an extremely lovely woman and is aware of how to relate literature. She is a writer herself so her input is extremely and relevant. She does require a lot of reading so buy the book. She is only so fussy because she wants everyone to leave the class as better writers.

Not a easy class. Thinks that Love is the concept of every literature and actually had me believing that most are. She chooses very feminist forms of literature and even though I'm a female the material was boggling my mind. She has great deal of knowledge about literature and a nice lady. There are many assignments, not a class you can skim by.
