I took Professor Benson for Statistics. She is an incredible professor; she's ridiculously smart and knows exactly what she's talking about. She's also very kind (and a little crazy), and she's a tough yet fair teacher. As a professional statistician, I believe she is truly the most qualified person for this job. Please TAKE HER!

Benson is a hilarious and understanding professor. Her crazy lectures go by quickly and takes time making sure you write down important information. Allows cheat sheets on quizzes and exams and you can retake them if needed. Is a little anal about your wording, just followed her directions and you'll do fine.

Professor Benson cares about all of her students, but will not put up with those who do not care enough to try. Homework is not checked, but she will know if you do it or not. She expects focus and attendance from her students, and if that is provided you will do very well. Course material is hard, but perfect for students who "hate math".

I only got an A in stats because she allowed a cheat sheet and retakes on the quizzes/tests. At first I would get 70s and on the retakes I would get 100 on it. Just don't miss class! Also she cares about her students passing. Spend time in her office for help and she's fun teaching the classes

Love this woman, don't eat Mint in her class and always go to class. Always do a retake if you didn't ace it the first time and ask for help. She is so passable. Be on your toes in class she liked participation and if your sleeping she will call you out. Otherwise super fun and energetic.

Her notes are amazing, she is always specific on what is being test on. Tests/Quizzes are very short (2 to 3 questions). Tough grader but she gives you everything you need to get a good grade. She lets you do cheat sheets, which you can use examples on! Definitely helps with tests. Homework isn't checked, but recommended.

Benson is by far the best math professor i have had, she made numbers talk to me, i love her teaching style, she is a wonderful woman filled with energy in life. (If you do the h.w assigned and make great sheets for the test, she lets you bring a sheet of notes to every test) you should be fine
