She was my favorite professor the semester I had her. Knows her Spanish, and cares about the students. Malone made a mistake not renewing the Spanish department, and making her the head of it.

She actually teaches for this class, which in a sense is backward from what it should be (doesn't teach in lower classes where the basics are, but teaches in a high-level one). In this Translation class, she is always discussing with her students how and why they translated something they did, and why it's right/wrong.

Julia is just wonderful! I love having her in class and learning Spanish. She is very helpful and willing to work with students. Great professor and person outside of the classroom. Looking forward to MANY more Spanish courses with her!!

i agree with the last comment. if more people were in college to learn then maybe she wouldn't be so looked down on. everybody just wants to get the easiest path to the grade and ignore any actual improvement in themselves. and you guys just wreck class for the rest of us. GET OVER IT!!

¡Me encanta a Julia! Her classes weren't that great, but I've stuck it out and gotten a Spanish minor. She's a wonderful person, wonderful to converse with on anything Spanish-related. I had her classes at a bad time, though. There was a group of VERY difficult students. Now she's better, I hear.
