I've never had a teacher like this & I'm contacting her boss bc she is ridiculous. She sets expectations that she never clarifies with you. Her assignments don't relate well to the book she gives. Comment:

Rose is a nice and funny person, but those are not the qualities that necessarily make a good professor. She is very broad with her information, and then asks for specifics on the tests and quizzes. Her lectures are long and boring. Lots of tests, and she is a very tough grader. I would not recommend taking a class with Rose if at all possible.

Nothing was ever good enough. She was a disastrous teacher.If you would like to take a class to become mad, disgusted, and intolerant of her than that's what taking her class will do for you. She was my first C ever in college!!!

Loved the subject, very disappointed in Rose. I received VERY low grades because Rose said I did not meet her high expectations. Feedback was always unclear. Witnessed her verbally bulling myself and other students multiple times. Try to stay away from her as much as possible.

Try to avoid Rose at all costs. I have never had a teacher like her. She will not help you if you do not understand an assignment. If you are sick and present a note and ask her for the notes missed..her response will be "You would know if you came to class" Honestly disheartening of how bad this prof. is!

This teacher is completely worthless. I have had to correct her on several occassions. She has had a severe disconnect with reality. I hope that she is not allowed to teach anymore. My final grade was a B- according to her and when I added up the points, I clearly had an A. Overall, one of the worst "teachers" I have ever dealt with.

Maybe qualified to teach journalism/communications classes 30 years ago but not in this century. Out of touch with modern media. Writing assignments are unclear and graded very harshly. She is also unwilling to offer constructive feedback on assignments. Class consisted of copying down her notes and listening to irrelevant stories. Avoid her.

So much is to be said about Rose. She's not really a teacher, just kind of relays stuff from the book. Her tests are open book which makes it somewhat easy. Her papers have to be perfect or you'll get a ridiculous low score. No make up work, she's a nice lady though and if you do everything right, you'll get a fairly easy A.

This teacher gives out 0% on papers that she feels do not answer the question fully. if she doesn't give you a 0% then she will give you a 5%. Her grading is pathetic and completely absurd. If someone hands in a two page paper putting thoughts and ideas into it they should receive at least a 50%. I would never take a class with her online. EVER

Useless. Teaching divorced from reality and the text. Puts questions on test never covered in class or text. Arbitrary minutiae included in tests, while main themes given short shrift. Unfortunately her class required for most Media programs. Main goal when approached outside class is to get you out of her office. Should have retired long ago.

This is not one of the best classes because of her. She doesn't know how to answer questions and is VERY unclear about what she wants in assignments and is also very random. The tests are long and very random. The info she puts ont he class website didn't match what was in my book and since I took this class online that made it hard!

I finished the course in 4 weeks. Easiest course I have taken because I made 60's on every test and still managed to make an A-. The test took three hours to take and were very difficult.I have no idea how she grades but i like it! The assignments are mainly judged by length and basic understanding. I would take another course by her. Great Grader!

WAY too picky about VERY random and inconsequential things. Seems to pick the things she promotes as important VERY randomly. Not organized or very clear. Not forgiving in the LEAST about ANY absences EXCUSED OR OTHERWISE. I missed the same amt of time in four other classes, put in the same effort, yet hers was the only one I didnt ace, (F!)
