Very boring but not too hard. The exams are 75% T/F and the rest of multiple choice. His lectures are DULL. He just reads from the book but if you pay attention his lecture will have you ready for the exam.

Material to be graded on is super unclear. His lectures are just him talking for two and a half hours, you really have no idea what to study for the test. No study guides, no extra credit, no homework. Very boring and dry class. Very little to no feedback

This class was pretty easy. If you want an A you'll need to study hard for the tests but other than that he assigns a paper that you pretty much automatically get a 100, and attendance (5% of your grade) is based off of him calling your name once in class. If you're there you get the points, if you miss that day its like you never showed up once.

Comment:

Judge Banks isn't a difficult instructor, how he teaches can be rather boring though. He strictly lectures, no power points or anything else. Your only grades are three tests (final included,) a paper and participation. His test are super easy though and he's a lenient grader. As long as you briefly review on your own, you'd easily pass with a B.

A monkey with a pen could pass this class 80% of the test is true or false. His test are 50 questions and the questions you miss you only loose a point so if you missed 40 out of 50 you still make a 60. I learned so much about business law he's a judge he knows what he teaches.

This guy is an actual judge with actual law experience. But there's good and bad sides to that. As far as teaching goes, it's purely lecture, and it will strain your attention span at times. However, he does employ real world examples that help with this. Tests are all T/F Multiple choice

He is an okay teacher. Takes a while to get your test back but overall he's pretty good. Class is only lecture and for homework you will only have to review cases. Test are normally all true/false and about 10 multiple choice.

He's a great professor and knows his stuff. I mean, he's a judge. It was an interesting class and even if you're not into it, you could still find it interesting. He points things out clearly and is there to help. I highly recommend.

Agree with the other comments. Because you only have 2 exams and the final you've really got to study all the time to make a decent grade. Otherwise, it's really easy to fall behind. Seemed like lectures were pretty much straight from the end of the chapter summaries. Somewhat interesting class but could have been better.

I liked Banks. Tests weren't easy but if you go to class and study you'll do fine. I made an A in the class went half the time, read the cases, and studied for the tests. He's very nice and helpful if you have questions.
