The quizzes are SO timeconsuming and her tests are hard. Most class periods are useless other than she pulls test essay questions from random (usually useless) material covered during them and takes an attendance grade. As a person, she's fine and answers questions when needed.

I flunked out of Tietz class. I needed super help and not a class where everything you did was online. The class did NOT help me in any way and Tietz made no effort either!

In PSYC 101 she was a good teacher, but didn't engage much with the students. I enjoyed her Psych of Gender class a lot more - she was friendly, helpful, and a fair grader. I don't agree with the person who said she talks a lot about her sex life - I took 2 of her classes and she never did that

Dr. Tietz is certainly not a bad professor by any means and indeed has many strengths such as an ability involve students in the learning process during classes. However, she does not seem very passionate about engaging in learning herself.
