I appreciated how, while trying to aid the non-Spanish speaking students in the class, he catered highly to the needs of fluent speakers. Very knowledgeable, and he made learning, and understanding Spanish a do-able task. I enjoyed his class heartily, and am proud to call him my Professor.

monroy has a lot of stories and says stuff like "shishkabob" instead of cursing. however, he was a lenient grader, always in office hours, funny, helpful and usually let us out early. understands that effort is part of the grade, and not just the test. can come off as mean, but he's totally cool. he hates talkers though--i got yelled at a lot.

He is easy, but I didn't personally like him too much. Every single class he had to lecture us about something! If you ask a question he's already answered, he sometimes makes you feel stupid.

I had him for spanish 3 and 4 and he is fantastic!!! Really funny and understanding if u turn in late work. He is really compassionate about those who have to work to go to school and grades the exams really easy. Go to lecture, because he will go over exactly what will be on each test.

Profesor Monroy is one of the coolest teachers ever. He speaks in spanish the whole lecture but he has a lot of funny stories to tell. He goes a bit easier on the grading and says funny stuff like "aiye chiwuawua" and "shishkaba". He's always laughing and cracking jokes so he'll keep your interest.
