This class, you will have to do a lot of presenting. She will help you get over your fear when it comes to talking in public. She is very nice and understanding. She will work with you IF you talk to her. Do NOT skip presentation days!!!! This class is easy!

This was the most disorganized, chaotic mess I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Things not posted until the day they are day, stuff not getting posted at all, completely disregard the syllabus because it doesn't apply. Worst class I've ever taken - by far.

Took several of Dr. Smith's courses and each one is laid out in a similar manner. You are responsible for your reading but she explains any difficult areas well. A great professor in all aspects of instruction. Several group projects as well as community action programs, so you learn how to interact with real agencies.

Really, really enjoyed Dr. Smith. I took her for Comm Analysis and Senior Seminar, and i got a lot out of both classes. She has an obvious passion for her subject and her students. She is great about answering questions you have and presenting the material in an engaging way. I would definitely take her again! One of the best in the department.

Sweet lady, doesn't grade hard, but is VERY unclear in her assignments. She throws you in without explaining, she does maybe ONE tutorial and then lets you go on your own! I guess she expected the majority of us to be familiar with the programs such as dreamweaver, flash, Corel Draw, etc. With ONE tutorial, its hard to know how to do the project.

Professor Smith is willing to help you anytime you need. Although she is the department head she will not just give you everything, she wants to make sure you understand things! I adored her with the 4 classes I took with her! Great lady!

I only took this professor for one class and will never again. I was doing great in the class (according to all my work) and came out of the midterm thinking I had done well. I got a C on the midterm. I worked harder, did well on my assignments, and had the same problem with the final. My ONLY C in a 4.0 semester.

Dr. Smith is one of the kindest professors I have encountered. She really cares about her students and their future. She WANTS you to seek help if you don't understand something, from her, the writing ceter, anyone. She wants to see you do good. This class was super easy and very enjoyable. I highly recommend Dr. Smith for any class.
