Ive never done so poorly in a class my entire school career. I took his online meteorology class n I STRONGLY advise against any class with him. The quiz and test a material rarely made sense or had anything to do with the chptrs he assigned or prev. test n quizzes. I literally failed the final even tho I studied n reviewed all the past tests.

The tests are for people who are way more advanced in Meterorology then the students taking this basic course. Outside of the book-there is no additional teaching. I carried a 3.8 GPA before this class, he's cocky and arrogant and obsessed with weather. Also has no idea of what a'basic' class consists of. Tests are unreasonable!

This was the worst educational experience I have ever had. Professor Berk was [unjustifiably] cocky, arrogant, obnoxious, rude and totally full of himself. I'd rather have 20 root canals than spend 10 minutes with this person. The work is unreasonable. The tests are horrible. ....and trust me, I'm holding back...

Really nice guy, who just loves weather. I've seen him stay late anytime someone needed help. He did show videos of his TV work, but they taught something, and he mixed it with other clips and music, and candy. Yeah a few students ripped on him, like children. Aren't good teachers suppose to be hard? Mr. Berk didn't need to teach, he wanted to.

If ever in the span of human existence there has been a mean more consumed with adoration of self than Justin Berk, I would be shocked. His patently pathetic attempts to bring meaning to a life void of purpose and achievement are so sad and tragic, it's almost hard to be mad at him. If you want to laugh at him, take it. Otherwise, avoid for sure

ummm yeah extremely cocky. & has no right to be. i hated him...dont take him! his tests are extremely hard and unrealistic for a student who has never learned weather before. basically hes a jerk thats obsessed with stupid weather, and he cant get over himself.

Justin Berk is just as excited about teaching as I am about learning. I actually look forward to going to this class everytime. It may get a little boring taking down notes but he tries to liven it up with real world examples. He's always so random you never know what he's gonna do. One class he came in with a lava lamp to show how thermals work. It may seem corny but I know I'll get that answer right on the test. I don't think he's as cocky as people make him out to be but he does show footage of himself.

Boring taking all of his notes. and he is alittle cocky. but if you mention he broadcast, then he will praise you!! mention you saw his forcast and it will make his day. also, before each class make sure you noticed the weather outside, he's very big on that! Tests are hard too!
