There were a few number of assignments, 1 project, and 2 exams. The lectures and the exams were very straightforward. Just come to class on time, he'll hate you if you insist on coming to class late. Do the work, come to class, and you're good. If you want extra credits, ask him about his boat, he loves to talk about his boat. Very good professor.

There were maybe 6 assignments the whole semester, including tests. Go to class and follow along with the examples he does and you will ace it. He's an interesting guy. He hates if you consistently come in late, so just respect him and you'll stay on his good side.

This was my first time taking Dr. Chimka and I was very disappointed. The I.E faculty at the UofA is amazing, but I can't say the same about this professor. Class is pointless because he just writes the book examples on the board instead of allowing them to be an additional resource. Not many opportunities to show how well you know the material.
