Comment:

The class was interesting and the teacher helpful if you needed it. The dissucion board questions were not difficult, just about everybody writes the same thing. I did not listen to the lectures and I did just fine without them. You use lockdown browser to take all the tests accept for the final which made it easy because you could use your book.

Comment:

Very good instructor, did you undergraduate thesis with him. He knows his stuff and makes you work hard, but if you apply yourself you will get an A. The only things is he is disorganized, but this does little to affect the quality of the class.

I took this class online, and Professor Oh-Lee was very helpful. I was nervous because it was my first 300-level, but he posts study guides and tests are all multiple-choice. But you need to read the book or at least do the study guides. Overall, good teacher. :)

Comment:

Definitely take this class in the summer! He works hands on and one on one with each student during the summer. The best part is that you do not have to attend any lectures unless noted in the syllabus. This class is supposed to be the "Hardest" of all undergrad psy courses, but I managed to get an A- without the book.

I really liked Professor Oh-Lee. He's super nice and funny and overall a great professor. I took 387 over the summer and didn't buy the textbook and did fine. After the second exam he made study guides, but still look through all the slides and you'll do well. You can tell he cares and he's pretty knowledgeable.

This class is fast paced and it covers a lot of material but if you study the powerpoints he hands out you'll do fine. Don't buy the book you will never open it and there is extra credit on every exam and through sona. I really enjoyed this class and Oh-Lee is a good professor. I definitely recommend him!

He is extremely helpful when it comes to the proposal and he's very enthusiatic about psychology. The exam questions come directly from the study guides. You do have to study for the exams in order to get the best grades on the exams. Overall, he's the best professor to take PSY 285 with.

The class isn't too bad. I went in thinking it'd be awful but it isn't. There are only three exams which cover 3 or 4 chapters each. The exams are strictly from his power points and extra credit is offered. As far as the proposal, Oh-Lee is extremely helpful and available. He definitely is a fun and hard working teacher.

The class covers a lot of material. There are tests typically every other week or after two chapters. They aren't too difficult. If you study the power points he hands out in class, you'll do fine. Attendance isn't required but he does take it and it'll help with your grades. Extra credit is also available on ALL exams.

Dr. Oh-Lee is extremely helpful and always there when students have questions and concerns. He makes sure students are clear on what's going on in the class and provides handouts that help students throughout the semester. you can't ever get in touch with him and when you do he never knows what your working on. when you do finally get a time to meet with him he has 4 other people scheduled for the same time (and most of the time hes simply not there).
