This class was super easy...only 2 tests and a final his tests are not multiple choice but if you go to class and take notes you dont even need the book the tests are strictly from his notes and he makes sure the whole class understands...he also gives a lot of opportunities for bonus points on the tests even the final! take him!

For a department chair, Dr. Manrique is such a nice and caring teacher. There are 3 assignments, 2 exams, and 1 final. Study your notes and the practice problems he posts on Blackboard because those are very similar to the one's on the exams. TAKE HIM!!! He's so nice and helpful.

This is an upper level Eco class and the material is not easy. However, Dr. Manrique makes the class as painless as possible. Just study the problem sets and understand them and you should do ok on the exams. There are only 2 exams, but he gives homework for bonus points. I would definately recommend him for any Eco class.

Very easy class. One exam and a final. This class was so slow paced that i wanted to jump out the window. Though it was easy, it was hard to sit there and listen to him repeat alot of things. If you want a fly-by class, take this professor. He is very helpful and will make sure you understand everything. If u miss class u could miss important notes

Understand the notes and practice sets, which is similar to the exams. If you don't understand just ask! He does give homework for bonus points, which seems to be extremely fair and didn't seem to grade hard on the exams. He's an awesome professor and wants you to pass the class, I highly recommend him!

I recommend Dr. Manrique for any economics class. He explains the concepts very well, gives numerical and graphical example which help on the tests. He also assigns homework that are extra credit towards tests. His problem sets are very much like the tests. Put forth effort and anyone could do well in his class.

Prof Manrique is a great professor! He gives homework for extra points that can be added to your exam grades. Also, he gives you problem sets which are similar to questions asked on his exams. VERY helpful. I went from a C to an A for the semester. Go to every class. If not, you will get behind and miss something.

I would recommend this class to anyone. No need for a book all test based on notes. Just one thing COME TO CLASS so you want miss any notes. But he does do a review the next class period. Overall nice guy and willing to help you pass the course. I'm passing with an 'A'

Really nice guy and will work with students so they understand the material. Very detailed in his notes, and basically gives you what you need for test reviews. Do the problem sets, and review class notes and you'll be fine. I did and got an A.
