The worst teacher I have had at Fairfield. She is not accessible outside of class and very rigid with her tests and rules. The course is beyond a first year level for any college curriculum. She does not teach her subject well---just copies out of the book. Ugh what a waste of time and effort to have to deal with this professor.

Avery Sensei is awesome and cares for each of her students. It is a lot of practice, but if you practice and stay on the work it will be super easy. Love her and her work load is not bad at all and she is super helpful. Super funny as well.

This is the hardest class I ever taken. If you do have an interest in Japanese, I would suggest taking this class with a very light load of courses) as practicing is very time consuming. In her defense though, the curriculum with the book is incredibly hard, regardless of who teaches the class. Get ready to adapt incredibly quickly

She is the hardest grader at the school hands down. This is without dout my hardest class and at the end of my 2 years with her, I have very little enjoyment for Japanese. She is not fun at all and teaches directly from the book. Exams are extremely difficult. Would never recommend to anyone who enjoys a good GPA

Averysensei is an awesome teacher. Her class is very easy if you pay attention and do the work. She cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. I recommend this class-- you will learn a lot in a short amount of time.

This class is so fun. She makes Japanese really easy to understand. It seems like she goes way over your head at first but I learned to read very quickly because of her teaching style. She goes through stuff fast but as long as you pay attention in class it's not hard. She's very helpful and makes class fun and makes learning Japanese easier.

She is the best teacher at Fairfield. SHe makes learning Japanese easy to understand, and she is passionate about teaching her students. She really cares about her students understanding the material. IT is a fast pace class, but keep up and youll do fine. We watch movies and eat ramen sometimes
