One of the best, most respected, and smartest instructors in the dept, and I don't say this about all instrutors. He doesn't assign busy work, grades reasonably, and is respectful towards students. He instructs well, knows the material very well, and demonstrates his expertise. He's that good. Plus he's funny.

The class has a good combination of lecture, and class participation. He is a slightly paranoid with plagarism, so he likes to stay away from take home writing assignments, but he does consider the difficulty with writing in-class papers when he grades.
