By far the worst professor I have ever had. Refuses to use microphones in a room rigged for them. No graded material to help you study for tests. Tells people that their questions arent worth his time. Avoid if possible

Worst teacher I've had by far. Sadly He was the only professor teaching the class and the class is required for Mechanicals. I couldn't understand more than two or three comments he'd say in any given lecture, and that was when I was lucky. He mumbles and truly doesn't care if we learn. It doesn't matter where you sit- you won't be able to hear him

Worst professor at UMD. Really nice guy, but in 231 and 252 the only material I learned was from reading the book. He picks irrelevant questions on his A/B multiple choice tests that almost no one knows. In Mechanics of Materials, we only ever had one actual problem on a test. The only learning will be from reading the book on your own time.
