Professor Chang is awesome! She is hilarious and she makes the lectures super interesting. You end the course actually knowing stuff about the law. I would 100% recommend shes great! It's not an easy class but it's definitely worth taking it with Professor Chang. She's awesome!

Comment:

Professor Chang is one of the best professors at BU. She is very funny and passionate about teaching and the law. I was not a Questrom student but I still loved this class. Read the cases! A lot of the reading is not that important but cases are! Go to office hours before exams and go to class. Inspired me to pursue law!

I think that Prof Chang's best skill is her ability to present material in class with interesting stories and discuss the cases by questioning her students. She challenges her students to think critically and develop their own thoughts regarding how to apply the law. I feel like I learned a lot from this class. The only downside is all the reading.

OMG I love her so much. Her lectures are amazing, also if at 8am, it is impossible not to be interested and fall asleep. Everything she says makes total sense and she is extremely clear. Also, she is so funny. Truly inspirational!! PS. if you skip classes it will be difficult to understand the slides she posts on her website.

The tests require specific knowledge from the many textbook readings, articles, lectures, and videos. Her lectures are okay as long as you don't fall asleep, but she rarely takes attendance so if you have a friend to tell you if your name is up there, you can sleep through it and watch it online later. Discussion professors will be your friend.

Great lecturer, however her slides make no sense, so if you miss a class, you're literally screwed. And her tests are WAY HARDER than other law professors, I wouldn't recommend her if you want a good grade..

This woman is a POWER WOMAN. If you have her for Discussion be prepared. She was previously a lawyer. Her exams are difficult. CLass is enjoyable. I studied hard and received the minimum, but i enjoyed her lectures. Guest lecturers are engaging as well. Enjoy! Takes random attendance but I was never required to text the number.

As of Fall 2014, they really tried to fix the past problems with the class and did a pretty good job. Now the class is engaging and interesting. There are a lot of assignments but nothing too terrible and a good foundation for a business major. You must go to lecture and discussion if you want to do well and if u speak in discussion, you're golden.

I don't know why everyone is complaining about 131, I really enjoyed it. Kabrina is very clear and very engaging if you have any interest in the material at all (which you should). She wakes people up for sleeping in class, so don't do that. But other than that she's a fantastic lecturer and the tests are mindblowingly easy if you pay attention.

She's good as a teacher but not as professor... Attendance is always strictly mandatory. She cares meaningless staff especially that offend her. If you ever have a choice of NOT choosing her class then DO IT. Sadly she's the only choice for SM131 this semester.

SM131 was/is pointless as a class but it's really not difficult especially with Chang as a professor. She compares boring concepts to pop culture and relevant current events to keep everyone engaged. She's so nice and knowledgable, and she's friendly outside of class. Getting an A in 131 is probably the easiest thing you can do

I love Professor Chang as a person, but I have to agree with everyone else when it comes to the class being unnecessary. I found a lot of what she taught interesting and she was engaging, and pretty nice outside of class, but the class in itself was stupid and the grade you get isn't what you deserve, honestly.

This is a terrible class! Poorly organized. Nearly impossible to get in the A range. Doesn't help you learn. Repeat of finance and econ. Unnecessary for real business world. Writing component is condescending. Unfortunately, required for SMG. So Sorry For You. Nothing you study will help you. sorry. tests are not clear. discussions are useless!

Terrible class. Don't expect to get a good grade in this class when your exams are on pedantic lists that one of the guest professors used to describe SMG. She gets annoyed when people don't participate in optional events, changes the syllabus every week, and makes you write essays about making decisions. I'm sorry for future SMG students.

This class is mandatory for everyone so it's going to be pretty remedial at times. Attendance is mandatory. She's a good lecturer but not a good administrator. She always took at least 10 days to respond to any of my emails. Overall, she is a witty teacher and you would enjoy her class if you could get past the mandatory 8 AM time.

Amazing lecturer. One of the best I've ever had. Material was boring and at some points completely ridiculous but I enjoyed the lectures all the same.
