I can't even explain how pointless this class is. He expected my parents to write me an excuse when I missed ONE class due to a blizard. He is ridiculous and boring. Honestly, find another way to complete your GS requirement, trust me! Also, he will read these comments about him outloud to his class to "scare" them away, leave if he does!

This professor is the worst! DO NOT TAKE this class. His lectures are completely irrelevant to the material. His class is based off of antique videos and the captions in the text. Attendence is required, and he lowers your grade evertime you miss class. He is very anal and does not let you sign in if you are a few minutes late.

This man is senile. He is the single worst teacher I have ever had!! Anything he talks about in class is not on the test. The book is everything you need and he never even goes in the book. The tests are impossible. He is paid to teach and doesn't do one freakin' ounce of it, HE SHOULD BE FIRED!

He mainly lectures about his private life ("I lived in Thailand! When I lived in Thailand.... My wife is Thai" and so on) The only reason to attend lectures is because attendance counts (*he takes off .5 points for each absense). Tests are easy but you have to learn the material yourself, he never teaches it to you.

He doesn't really teach. You watch outdated movies and listen to him babble on about Thailand. Tests aren't bad. Theres always extra credit maps to help out. If attendance didn't count I'd never go. Most of what's on the test is your responsibility to learn on your own, which is very irritating since he's getting paid to "teach".

Prof was nice but class was boring. Test were impossible even with a study guide. Attendance checks everyday and if you miss more then 4, your grade drops. id only tell you to take the class if you really enjoy geography, otherwise dont take this prof for the class

Great, awsome professor. He really knows the subject. Tells fasinating stories of his travels to parts of the world that are studied in class. Curves tests and gives 10 extra credit points for filling in maps! How much easier can it get? Read the book, and don't miss many classes cause attandece counts, pay attention to movies, and you'll do fine.

the curve in this class will blow your mind. easy extra credit on the tests though. no work involved. he may be the most boring teacher however that i have ever had. the stories aren't boring just the monotony of his voice. all in all, i recommend though.

This class is not bad at all. As long as you go to class, take notes, and know the material given to you it is not bad. He gives you a study guide before every test. Can be boring at times, but most teachers can. DON'T try and leave in the middle of class, we will come after you, I saw it happen! HA
