Kamala is an amazing professor, and very detailed in the way she teaches. She definitely gave me a different perspective on human trafficking, migrants, and sex trafficking issues. Must do the readings, and you will get a great mark :)

It's her first time teaching this course (new course), very interesting, she has a strong passion towards the subject. She helps explain herself by showing videos to give you a better understanding, easy/fair marker if you put time and effort into your work, and I would take another class or a similar class with her if I could. MUST DO THE READING!

content is interesting the readings are easy and attendance is graded. Don't buy the text book you only use it once. Prof is very by the book, very demanding for a second year class. Not worth taking as an elective. Prof is not a good lecturer, nor is she helpful unless she likes you... And if she doesn't like you good luck. Offers no guidance.

She is fair. She is willing to guide you as long as you are willing to put in the work. she will certainly not spoon feed you. Her marking is just. Preparation, organization and relevant questions are pertinent for course, which this professor values tremendously. A good Prof.

Professor Kempadoo is amazing, she structures the class in a way in which the first half you get to discuss and ask questions about readings. The second half goes to her lecturing. She clarifies topics and has a true passion towards the studies of the Caribbs.
