She totally changed her class structure this quarter.instead of one midterm and one final, you have 3 questions quizes everday and no finals or tests ever. its so easy and makes the quarter go by fast. shes a fair grader and is really helpful. GREAT CLASS

I'm still not sure what to think about the class. The readings were horrible, but she goes over everything and takes notes on powerpoint, so if you copy them there's no need to read. Four interesting assignments that really weren't bad. The midterm and final are somewhat difficult, but if you do the study guide you should be fine.

This class is super boring but it is required for comm majors. There is no home work. She only assigns two tests during the qtr: midterm and final. During class she puts her notes on a power point presentation. She goes through notes really quick so you better take it down fast and don't miss a class.

CMJR 205 is challenging, but can be easily passed as long as you keep up with the readings and actively participate in class. People rarely speak up, which gives those who do a clear advantange in the eyes of professor Heinrichs. It is interesting material, and although the tests are a LOT of stuff to know, as long as you study you should be fine.

Heinrichs is a good lecturer, but class discussions with her are torture. It's funny because she asks questions, and if students don't read the answer verbatim from the text, she tells them they're wrong (even if she parrots it in technical language). Then she wonders why nobody participates or why it seems nobody did the reading. Seniors: Avoid.

I took her oral interpretations class which was awesome. It wasn't easy for people who are nervous about public speaking, but she's very helpful and understanding, and the class is usually united as well. She is very clear on explaining things, which is good for ESL students. Awesome professor *yeah, and she's hot too*.

One of my last classes as a senior. Lovely intructor, enjoyed her teaching method if not her lengthy exams =( The class as a whole was a lot of fun, which contruibuted to the overall success of the course, in my opinion.

Kara is an awesome teacher, very easy to talk to. She even tries to make some of the most mind-numbing material known to man interesting. Seriously though, this class was kind of absurd..I didn't do any of the reading and got an A. For thefinal we got a 5x7 doubled sided notecard!!

I had Kara for Public Speaking. She was 1 of the nicest profs I have ever had. Remember her daily quizzes...so read or else that will hurt your grade in the end. As for the guy who left the "hottie" comment....haha I'm a girl and I'll admit...she's adorable.

ok kara is a super easy teacher and i can honestly say i learned some in the class. on another note.... she's pretty damn hot. i mean, you can tell she was a hottie with a body back in her college days and while she may have lost a bit of it, she's hot.
