Karann is one of the most intelligent professors I've had at AC. I've gone through some serious crap and she has been very understanding, even when I was too embarrassed to tell her what was going on. Her classes are TOUGH so read before class. Not doing the reading is the only mistake you can make with Karann.

After taking Karnnn's intro class, I minored in Philosophy. I graduated 7 years ago, and those classes affected the rest of my life. Her classes are tough but rewarding. She's detailed, critical, and demanding. Read the material before class and she'll make sure you can follow. Her class will definitely improve your writing and analytical skills.

Karann is very intelligent, yet she is also humble so that she is very kind. she has been very helpful to me in all the classes I have had with her, and she has also helped me through my years in college when I have needed someone to talk to. She is by far one of the best teachers I have had in my life.

Karran is one of my favorite profs! Granted she is not easy, but she is a brilliant teacher. She is a really cool person, though doesn't always give the best sugestions when it comes to advising. If you love philosophy, you will probably love Karran.

Her class was, without a doubt, the most difficult one I have ever taken. She seemed like a nice person, but was very reserved. I made my first D on a (college) test in her class. I only made two Bs at AC, and one of them was in her class. I'm not saying she isn't a good teacher, but her classes and content are TOUGH!

One of the most brilliant people we've met. Modern Logic was the only A+ I've ever received here. She took time out of her evenings to give us extra study sessions. And then she let me (one of us) into her bioethics class I was too young to be in.
