you can just show up for the tests (3 total) and study the slides the night before (which she puts up for you online) and you can get between an A- and a B+. attendance is taken but not factored into your grade. if you do decide to show up some of the facts are interesting but the lectures can be boring. Very nice and down to earth teacher though

Very good teacher, at times boring. She reads off the slides, which she puts on Angel. Three tests is all you take, no other assignments. There is no final exam. Tests are easy, you don't need the book at all. She says on her syllabus that attendance is mandatory, but she told us she only puts it on there because Oswego wants her to.

Kurst-Swangler is a great professor. I had her as a freshman in my first semester and she was extremely helpful. She's down to earth and wants to see her students succeed. Definitely recommend taking pbj 101 with her and i wouldn't hesitate to take another course w. her as well

First off you must read or else you will fail the class. She is an awesome professor, very helpful and down to earth. She knows what were going through and is willing to help you with everything. A pretty basic class, but fun and easy. I advise you to take the class!

Mrs Kurst-Swangler is a very awesome professor. She is always available to help us students, and is very supportive. You will enjoy the class, as she is very knowledgable of her subject matter. I never wanted to miss class, i enjoyed it so much!

I had her Fall'06,when she came back from sabbatical leave.I think she lost her teaching skills.Horrible lectures,gets distracted by everything.I'd highly recommend a diff professor.I didn't like her teaching so much that I refuse to take another class with her.Talked to her after class one day & she offended me in front of other students.

This professor is great. She is really experienced and has a really good understanding of the legal system. Class has a lot of reading and somtimes boring but you need to read for the class. 3 or 4 exams, so study. Class has open discussion and she is open to all questions. I would take her again.
