Insists on teaching obsolete software, and complains the entire time she covers software that is currently used professionally. Constantly makes advising and scheduling mistakes, then berates the students for her mistakes. Knowledgeable in what she does know, but needs to modernize and hire a secretary.

An experienced professor who truly cares about the program and the students in it. What you get out of her class depends on what you put into it...dont expect mediocrity to get you by. If you truly apply yourself and listen to her advice, you WILL be a better designer in the end.

This professor is for grown-ups who are serious about learning what she is an expert in--she is extremely bright. She does not have time for students who don't do the work, then suddenly are in a panic at the end of the semester. Your emergency is not her emergency. Amazing teacher if you don't insult her intelligence. Great artist/teacher!

Very knowledgeable. She can be tough at times but it's usually for a reason. She can defiantly tell if you work hard and she'll reward you for it. Great Professor! Take a class from her, you will learn so much.

Sure she knows material, but why does that matter when she treats students with such contempt. I have never been treated with such blatant and unwarrented disrespect on a daily basis. Snaps at me when I ask questions. Talks down to students Plays favorites Makes generous allowances for her friends yet is unreasonbly harsh with those she dislikes.

Had her for 4 years & in contact with former grads from her program. Teaches only the pgrms and antiquated mater & waits until smstr ends to grade work. What does she grade on? Who knows!It isn't revealed or helpful. How is one supposed to be creative? Doesn't work well with other profs or with male students. A pox on those who gave her tenure.

Suprised at other comments. I admit first impression was scary. Once you have her in class and do the work she is great. One of the most helpful teachers I have had. I've learned so much from her. I hope IUSB doesnt lose her(at least until I graduate).
