Dr. C is a very dedicated teacher. Lessons are extremely well organized and detailed. However, just as how well she teaches she expects you to demonstrate that in her tests and homework. STUDYING IS ESSENTIAL. I passed with a B in the class but had to work extremely hard all semester. Expect DAILY QUIZZES in lab and lecture.

Dr. C is seriously the best BIO 156 teacher you could take. You do have to study in her class but she is passionate about what she teaches and gives examples so that you can understand the lesson. I got an A in the class but I worked hard and went to the SI sessions. She is super nice and always happy to help you if you need it.

What an awesome teacher!! I truly enjoyed BIO 156 and learned so much from Dr. C! She's always there to help and takes the time to review any confusing information. Definitely need to put the time in if you want a good grade in the class. Study, study, study!! It has been my favorite class so far!

Not gonna say it was an easy class but she is a wonderful teacher!! You definitely need to study but she goes over all of the material youll need to know for tests. Shes great id recommend her to anyone...very nice very understanding and very very helpful if you have an questions she will answer them for you! L

Dr. C is an absolutely phenomenal professor,she is without a doubt the gem of the department. Didn't have use for the textbook, she goes over absolutely everything you'll need to know in lecture, and provides supplementary material for review. If you do not do well, it is no fault of hers; she'll bend over backwards for you if you ask for help.

the best bio teacher at GCC highly recommand her she gives all our time to students just to help them understand matrial and pass class, she has tutors that help students and she comes on sunday's to help those that want to understand very helpful and if ur commited and determined then ul diffenitly pass her class whether ur smart or not

Great professor! Bio 156 is a difficult class and she makes learning fun. Has her silly jokes and relates material in a way that is easy to understand. Has loads of online games and self-tests that assist in retaining information, and are similar to the kinds of questions asked on exams. She has set the bar high for Biology professors.

Very fair, very helpful, also very hard. Her tests require that you actually know the material, you can't bs your way through her class, that being said, everything you need to succeed in her class is provided and teaches in way that was easy for me to understand.

being honest here, if you don't dedicate time to this you will struggle. Dr.C provide these study session that EXTREMELY helpful, also of note best to make use of her online self-test prior to taking her test... her test are 'tricky' you have to read carefully. But in the end I ENJOYED this class
