Comment:

Very important to pay attention to the deadlines and to stay on top of all assignments. Most of the work for the class is done through a third party which is not hard since most of the assignments allow for multiple attempts. She grades hard so be careful and make sure you look at what she grades each assignment on.

She thinks that she is always right and does not like to be questioned. Also, I hope you don't have any technical difficulties and can't access your assignments because that is on you. If you turn anything in late it will not be graded. Also, prepare for all types of deadlines. This isn't just a once a week class with a standard schedule.

Making sure to stay on top of all due dates for assignments is important. There are many opportunities to score points because there are a lot of assignments. Make sure to read the syllabus on how she grades each type of assignment. They are very important.

Make sure and pay attention to deadlines. Also, keep up on the reading and the class is easy. Some of the things she grades and errors really cost you. As long as you do good on the things graded by the third party you will have success in this class.

This has been the most difficult professor. She takes 2-3 weeks to grade papers, gives you a D if you have 1-2 errors or don't word it the way she expects. She also gave me an F on an assignment that I turned in 2 days early, with the reasoning that I turned it in late. I will not be taking this professor again if I can help it.

All homework is done and graded through a third party. The course material is exactly to the textbook and if you don't need the class then just buy the book and read that. Few discussions with quizzes about every other week. Keep on top of the weekly homework/reading and you'll do well on the quizzes.

Stay on top of her classes, take good notes from reading the text, and you'll be fine. If any difficulties come up you're pretty much on your own, however. She does not respond often or timely. Easy to work ahead and tests only cover a couple chapters at a time.

The Project Management class is a joke. Took this class as a learning tool for my current job and would have been better off buying a textbook and teaching myself, cheaper too. The instructor gives little to no feedback, does not engage students in the discussion postings and takes weeks to grade things. Also needed prompting for posting exams

Terribly written syllabus, pretty much the only teacher for Chemeketa, STUPIDLY long assignments - a testament to the fluff of this class, gets seriously miffed - can't take being told anything or any suggestions, quality of work isn't judged, just the grammar and ridiculous amount of content.

When I took this class I was a freshman, so I was already nervous to take a class. This teacher creates 100 point test to FAIl you. If you miss spell one thing you've destroyed your entire paper. Never taking this teacher ever again. I'm so serious, you will fail this class.

This was the 5 week accelerated online class. I expected it to be HARD due to short time. It wasn't. No quizzes, no midterm, no final test. Mainly discussion questions and case study questions.

This was more of a grammar class than a business class. You can get docked major points for misspelling a word. Test are extremely confusing, with one or two words interchanged with intent to screw you up. The worst part is, Chemeketa doesn't really give you a way to avoid her. She teaches a most business online classes.

This instructor hardly participated and was very very slow to respond(if respond at all). Not only that but she is extremely super sensitive and gets easily offended to the point where you have to walk on egg shells in terms of how you communicate with her. So if you have to take the class watch how you words things when communicating with her.

OK so where to start. First the commenter who stated about contributing on 3 separate days is spot on. The discussion are not in real time therefore its completely illogical to have in the syllabus a requirement that you must do your 3 responses to your classmates on 3 different days.

This class was difficult but useful. You must read your case studies and there is a quiz every week. The only thing I didn't like was having to log in every day to contribute to classmates discussions on 3 separate days. It shouldn't matter what days I commented as long as I commented. Do not expect to not do the work and get a passing grade.

Wouldn't recommend her. Her ego seems to get in her way of being effective. I also think she is teaching the wrong class category. This was a Human Resource Management class yet she was more concerned about the accuracy of students citing sources than ensuring students were learning and able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of HR.

I am appalled that this professor hasn't even read this textbook! This book has many "Western" biases, and almost degrades any other culture. The teaching style has no organization, you don't know what to expect from her. Because of the disorganization, my GPA is ruined.
