Karen is an easy prof. Don't really need the book for Comm Gender, I never read and only used it for take home tests. She has a little bit for everyone (take home, in class, short papers, short presentation, group project). She tries to change up her teaching to engage students better. Very thoughtful prof. She does count attendance.

Dr. Erlandson is the best professor I have EVER had. Energetic, friendly, and downright hilarious. Also, being a communications teacher after all, she is crystal clear during lectures and I feel as though in my time in her class I've truly learned and understood everything she taught. She changes things up often in class to keep you on your toes.

Energetic is an understatement; let?s just say there is never a dull moment in Dr. Erlandson?s class. Also, she tries to compensate for students needs, so some tests will be in class and others will be take home. All in all, she is a great teacher, and she has some crazy stories to tell about her life.
