Math is tough but she will answer your questions right away. I have taken her from mte 4-8 and I am about to take her for mte 9. She is amazing and cares she will work with you if you have difficulty but you have to do the work.

I had to retake Precal because my last precal class didn't transfer over from my last college, so I already knew the info, but I feel like she is a tough teacher, however when it comes to any math class, its going to be tough. The tests are long, but if you practice, you will pass. On all 4 tests, I never made below a 95. Study & you will pass!

Definitely cares about you! I have taken several college math courses and she is the best professor I've had so far. She has goodclear lectures, always works problems you may not understand. Uses MyMathLab for homework which is a lot of work but with math, it's all about the practice! I strongly recommend!

Marilyn Peacock is a wonderful professor. I cant sing her praises enough! She truly cares about whether you are learning the material. You have to do your homework or you'll be in trouble. She spends the beginning of every class taking questions on the homework. If you leave her class with less than a B, its your own fault.

Really easy class but she can be quite rude. Calls you out when you are behind on assignments, it's pretty embarrassing and uncalled for. Inappropriate freak outs occasionally when you aren't doing something right. Would not take her again!

Dr. Peacock is an amazing math instructor. As long as you show up to class, listen, and take notes to refresh your memory later, the (online) homework is not difficult, nor are the required pre-test review problems or the tests. I was not previously fond of any sort of math, but now find it almost enjoyable, and no longer intimidating!

I've completed two MTEs with Dr. Peacock, and am currently enrolled in a third. I noticed that in some reviews people said she's 'testy'. That may be, but I think of it more as 'old school' - she has a set of rules, expects people to abide by them. It's a minor thing for her to ask of her class, considering her exceptional teaching skills!

She wasn't the teacher she usually is this past semester. She would get angry if no one answers her questions (because she went too fast so we didn't understand how to do it) and angry if you ask questions in class. Over half the class dropped/withdrew by the end. Don't try to go to the bathroom or leave class early or she'll call you out.

Hard grader. Excellent when it comes to instruction. Her lectures are very organized. The way she teaches and instructs are very thorough. If you want to pass I suggest listening and writing everything she writes on the board. Attendance is crucial because she goes over a lot in a day so if you miss it you miss a lot.

She's a very good teacher! I took her for a 2.5 week MTE. She is thorough and will make sure you understand. Just used My Math Lab online and even showed students how to get a free trial avoid the 100 cost.

She will make your brain do math. I have failed miserably at algebra before, but for some reason, she teaches it so that it makes sense. I cannot say enough how helpful she is if you put in the effort as well. She has no patience for slackers but will help you willingly. She does require homework completion and a notebook compilation that is graded

Very good at explaining steps to solve a problem. She cares about how well you learn the material, which is why she checks homework almost every day and makes sure you understand a problem, so make sure to do your homework.Problems from the test are taken off the study guide, so make sure you know how to do all of the problems on the study guides!

Dr. Peacock is a wonderful teacher. She gives examples of everything that will be in your homework as well as what will be on the tests. As long as you show up for class and do your homework, you'll have no problem passing the tests. I had her for Math 4 & 163. She is more than willing to help during office hours as well. She gets an A+ from me.

She teaches material clearly, and she is willing to stop and answer questions if you do not understand. She reviews all homework before proceeding to a new section. Even though, she is willing to help you, she is no non-sense. You have to do the work and attend class.
