Very hard teacher and course. Do not recommend taking early in your collegiate career. Last 3 days of class were a third of your course points. Quiz. Test. Final. Never got higher than a D on any of my papers due to her inability to be clear about the assignments. Passable class when you do all your work but don't expect anything close to an A.

All the tests come from lecture, but your book will help when it comes to in class stuff. Go to class - she takes off points for participation which can hurt your grade. Really nice and understanding, but do the work and study for the tests or else you will not do well.

Hard, but fair professor. I had a problem with a test, I went to office hours, argued my point, and won. Full credit. Nash is very fair, and I did all the extra credit, ended up with a 99%. Best grade Ive ever had at FSU. Just do the work!

The class was fairly easy as long as you're listening in class. I didn't like the mandatory class participation and it's a mark off every week if you don't speak up. She's very intelligent but hard to follow sometimes. Overall she's great!

Karen Nash Was quite possibly the worst instructor I had because of the way she goes about things. example: I wrote a technical paper and she told me that she marked me down because she did not know the subject. She also marked me 2 out of 10 for no purpose statement, I showed where it was, she said it was perfect but then she still only gave 4pts.

She means well, but she is ungodly boring. She rambles on the entire time and makes you work in groups a lot.Quizzes are always true/false after each chapter and the tests are hard. she's a lawyer so she talks very professional uses words that nobody understands. wouldn't recommend this teacher overall unless you are pursuing a degree in law

Professor Nash is a very nice person and means very well. If you are planning on pursuing law school, i would suggest taking john vermeer. He is harder, but you will learn twice as much in half the time. She only gives book examples, no real world examples. VERY EASY tests and quizzes and extra credit is offered throughout the semester.

Every chapter covered has a quiz. Make sure to take notes, because everything on quizzes and tests are on the notes. Gives quite a bit of extra credit. She is also pretty helpful. The best thing is that she is really interested in what she is teaching and is good at communicating it.

Pros: Quizzes are from the book usually and easy if you put in a half hour of study for them, she gives EC, and her executive summaries are a joke! Cons: Her tests are all those fuzzy gray area questions. I Aced all her quizzes yet failed some tests!

She nice, But if you every seen a deer in the middle of the road stareing into head lights. That sums up the experience that you will have with her, just plain scary. I almost droped it because of her stare. insane, she thinks everyone should be a lawyer and know everything.
