Professor Crerar is probably the nicest prof I have ever had. His lectures are engaging and informative, and he always ensures to repeat himself so you can take good notes. He is a hard marker, but is very accessible and willing to help you. Even if you don't like Canadian History you should definitely take one of his courses!

Dr. Crerar was an amazing prof. He really cares for his students & wants to see them succeed. You should definitely go to class. Not only does he repeat himself in order to convey what is the most important allowing you to take great notes, but he also doesn't post his slides. I also recommend introducing yourself because he is such a friendly guy!

Dr. Crerar is hands down one of the best profs I've had at Laurier. He geuninelly cares for the success of his students and takes the time to know everyones names and interests. His lectures are very interesting and he is open to discussion in lectures as well. I would HIGHLY recommend taking any course with him

Crerar is the man! Such a nice guy, the type that says hi to you in the halls- genuinely cares! He's all about student support. He even gave us his home phone number in case we needed help, and he was more than willing to take the time to answer questions. If you put in the work, you will be rewarded.

Honestly one of the best history profs at Laurier. Very clear and concise, reiterates important points to ensure everyone got them down, promotes interesting discussion and really cares for students. Extremely knowledgeable and approachable - highly recommend any course he teaches

Good lecturer, does the best with what he's given (Canadian history is not interesting). Getting to know him can definitely help your mark, he's a very friendly person. I did not think he was a hard marker, average for a Laurier History prof

Aside from being great,...he's great. That said, my 'A's turn into 'A-'s at his bidding...May be in competition with Gavin Brockett to see who gives the lowest grades. The friendliness and approach to topics people often deem boring, however, is worth it.

He honestly is an awesome prof that I would recommend to anyone. He is extremely helpful, very approachable, and takes the time to get to know his students. Yes he is a hard marker, but to be honest it is for your own benefit. In HI480 in particular he was really helpful at helping me research what I was interested in. He's in my top 5 profs at WLU

I'm not uuber interested in North American History, but Crerar made it interesting. The tutorials were beyond useless though. He made himself available to his students. Be warned that he is a tough grader. Good class.

One of the nicest profs at Laurier. Not really interested in Canadian History but he is a really great prof and makes class interesting. Always makes sure he is availble to help students. Hard marker but provides extensive comments to explain his grading and to help students improve. Very smart and VERY nice!

Best prof ever...extremely nice, very helpful if you go to him for help. His lectures are very interesting, which often makes it difficult to focus and copy everything down. Overall top notch prof, couldn't say really anything bad except that we had to read too much for the tutorials.
