best thing for the criminology department is her departure. she knows her material, she is enthusiastic about the subject, but she has absolutely no respect for her students. Deleware be ware!

Didn't use the book at all- test material was straight from the notes. Questions were tricky though. She was very enthousiastic about the subject and overall a very good teacher. You really have to attend the class to do good, because you have to be familiar with her notes. Not a hard class at all with a little bit of effort.

I thought I prepared very well for the tests but somehow wound up with low to high B's. I attended every class too. Tests seemed easy like I knew the answers but...still got a couple wrong...I wouldn't say they are tricky...but iffy.

First, do NOT buy the book.You don't need it. Just copy the powerpoints, and you're good. Good class, straightforward, Parker is a nice lady, will help you out if you need it.Make sure to come everyday,because she covers a lot of notes.

The class consists of copying notes off rom powerpoint to the point you feel like your hand is going to fall off. The firsts two test are very tricky. Do not buy the textbook because we never used it. Should have been a lot easier!

She is awesome! By far, one of the best professors at UF. I have no idea what these other ppl are talking about! She is very clear, everything you need to know is in the notes, no surprises. She is funny too. I wouldn't pass up a chance to take this class. It's a pretty easy A (or B). Very easy, fun, interesting. Good subject, awesome professor.

Very good instructor--the work is challenging, but fair, and its obvious she has a great deal of knowledge about criminology. Tests aren't easy, but you'll do fine if you make the effort. Quite nice to look at, as well!
