This class is pretty difficult if you try and slide by. His grading scale isn't the greatest and I earned a B for the class. Felt like I earned an A though. He takes off for the slightest of mistakes, make sure you stay with the rubric.

If you have the option of choosing another instructor, please do so. He told the class, on the first day, that it was easy to get an A, yet he makes it very difficult to do so. You would think that public speaking would be an easy class, but this instructor removes the "easy" parts. I did ALL of the extra credit & still ended up with a B+ (89).

Terrible instructor. Rude, doesn't care if you don't understand what's going on or not. Doesn't teach the course. Expects you to teach yourself. Grading scale is very skewed and it's near impossible to make an A. Taken any other teacher if you can.

I found him to be rude to people who weren't Liberals. He also has no compassion. My friend is physically handicapped, and has a hard time standing and requires support. She is physically incapable of gesturing, and he counted off because she didn't gesture...even when she brought it up he wouldn't change the rules just for her.

This is a Public Speaking class that goes the extra mile to teach you the basic fundamentals of speaking in public; whether it be to a group of your friends or to a group of politicians. You learn everything from proper posture and appearance to motive and content. This was one of the best and most imformative classes I've taken on campus this year

Gunter's Cinema class was extremely easy. All we did for most of the class was go to the movie theater and watch movies. We would do the same thing in class. He never teaches anything, but his exams are tricky if you can't remember something. I missed getting an A by 3 questions on the final.
