Comment:

Pitts is the sweetest woman. She makes math very simple and easy to follow for anyone. She wants every student to do well. Expect HW every night, but it is very doable and an answer key is always provided. Quizzes almost every week but super easy. Exams are basically the quizzes with slightly more material. Always uses easy problems on exams.

Prof. Pitts is very easy to follow. She explains things very slowly and clearly and allows answers any questions. She's very sweet and I enjoyed her teaching style. I did very well in her class without needing to put in too much effort because she taught everything nicely. I would consider myself bad at math and I did really well in this class.

Comment:

Pitts is an awesome prof for math 100E. If you do the homework and keep up you'll be totally fine. Her tests are often easier than the homework problems and she tells you exactly what each question will be on the test, she just switches the numbers around. Very doable math class if you are not a very confident math student. Id take her again.

Comment:

Professor Pitts is very helpful in a one-on-one setting, but for someone who struggles with math the lectures can be very confusing. All notes are handwritten on a board, it is sometimes messy and hard to follow. Only 3 tests including the final and 3 minitabs worth only 10%. Mess up on one test and that's pretty much it.

Professor Pitts is a really great teacher and she makes the classes really easy to follow. She writes all the notes on the board and then does a few practice problems so the students really understand it. HW is generally given every night but there are usually around 10 problems and it won't take you more than 20 minutes.

This class is super easy as long as you do the homework and pay attention in class. Gives multiple, easy quizzes so it's easy to boost your grade. She is always available for extra help. She is usually very nice, but sometimes gets sassy if you ask a dumb question.

your grade is 4 tests. that's it. study for them. go to class because she goes over every example on the board for you. if you don't understand an example, she'll do it out for you and bring it to next class. textbook is NEVER used, good to have for personal reference. will tell you EXACTLY the type of problems that'll be on the test take her

Really nice lady, wants everyone to understand and to do well. Go to class and she will boost your grade. Gives homework, its worth your while to do it. 3 exams, she gives review sheets and the problems on the exams are just like them. Clear notes, easygoing teacher, take her!

Comment:

She's great, so easy and goes over everything in detail. Minitabs are an easy grade-booster. She gives out review sheets with answers for all the exams, which are extremely helpful. Homework is so easy and definately worth taking the time (twenty minutes, max.) to do to make sure you don't fall behind. I definately recommend taking her!
