Karen is seriously the nicest professor I've ever had. But you definitely have to go to class. CDO 130 covers so much material, so it's good to try and read as much of the book as possible. Her writing assignments are intersting and easy. Go to class and you'll be fine!

I don't understand why everyone is ragging on her. She is by far the nicest woman i've ever met and does everything she can to make sure everyone gets the material. Gives EC at times, ya tests can be tough..just go over the notes and you'll be fine. I once turned in a paper a week late and still got full credit, she just wants ppl to succeed.

Ok I think everyone needs to give her a break. She is a good prof who pushes her students to go above and beyond normal expectations. Just because she makes her students work for their grade does not make her a bad prof. I really liked her...

I have never had a more incoherent teacher in my entire life. I didn't learn a damn thing in that class and we were expected to read every chapter of a 400 page textbook in which we were tested on and quized on weekly. The project is pointless and she literally hinders my learning development. DO NOT TAKE HER, there is an easier teacher!

Wow. Avoid her completely. Prepare to be confused because her lectures don't teach anything. When she really doesn't understand the material, the class gets in groups to teach ourselves. Her exams are a different format each time, and no one does well (somehow she believes it's our fault). No extra credit. She took months to grade an exam.

Alright. I can understand if you are unorganized and break every electronic device in the room once. But every class she broke something, or she "misplaced" something. This stretched out the class time by like 30 mins, which is eternity! Avoid!
