I am a Republican and had a great relationship with Janecke. We had some of the best discussions and arguments in and after classes. And she ENJOYS hearing differing viewpoints! She's not a Democrat, either, by the way. Oh yeah, and I got an A in her class so I guess that blows your conspiracy theory. It's too bad she's gone, one of my favorites.

If you are a Democrat this teacher will love you. I have seen her blast any Republican idea or the President in most classes. So, as many here have said, she is all about BROWNIE POINTS and agreeing with her views, if you differ, look out. Can somebody tell me, why I paid money to hear her political views in a Speech class? Or 2 ridicule otherss.

A lvely, entertaining, and VERY effective teacher; the class was a unit, not a group of lumps in the chairs, and it was all her doing. But atrocious taste in music. I mean, Pearl Jam? Come on, Kari!

Janecke was a bad ass in the classroom. She made speech much less scary than most people think it is. Also outside of that, she is a fun person to be around, almost like a fellow student. I took Janecke a while back and I wish her the best of success at ICC. Go Cubbies!!

It's a shame she's leaving, one of the best instructors I've had at Kish! Makes class FUN -- and this is speech!! In addition to Pearl Jam, it's also a good idea to brush up on the Cubs or her sweet sweet Michael Barret...you'll get even more brownie points!

I ENJOYEd going to her class which doesn't happen often. She makes giving speeches less nerve raking. Definately have her as a speech instructor, and pretend to like Pearl Jam.
