Kari Shaw is an awesome professor! Calculus is not the easiest class, but she makes it relaxing and makes sure that everyone is on board during the lecture, and does not mind if people ask a lot of questions which is super helpful. I wish I could have her for every math class honestly. She is willing to add extra office hours so students can thrive

Awesome professor. I usually struggle with math but she does an awesome job with explaining concepts and making sure the entire class is on track before moving on with th next top topic. Highly reccomend

Great professor. Easy quizzes, but the tests are a little harder. She has optional homework and I'm sure if I did it I would have done better on the tests. Just a real sweetheart and this passion and knowledge this woman has for math is incredible. Definitely go to lecture, and she really makes herself available outside class.

I had so much fun with her! She is clearly very passionate towards teaching. She has an unusual sense of humor and I find her class very amusing. She is very helpful during office hour! Optional homework are how you study Cal 3. Quiz and Test are too easy. She is very, very, very clear. She's so good at explaining calculus. TAKE HER!!!

Great professor that I would for sure take again. She posts all of her lecture notes online after class so thats a great help while doing homework. Overall, the tests were easy and homework was straight forward. Only reason i didn't get an A was because of the quizzes.

Professor Shaw is awesome. My Calc 2 teacher was horrible so going from him to her was a blessing. She teaches everything that you need to know in lecture. There are take home quizzes that you can go to her to get help with or use your notes/classmates. Homework is optional and the exams aren't too hard! Would want her again as a math professor.

She's the best, very helpful! I always utilized her office hours and she really helped me understand the material. There is a lot of extra credit as well-- not hard to get an A.

Be thankful if you have her. Other sections get bad teachers . She said she will curve the course grade but I might not even need it. She is very clear and willing to help. Go to class and you're set. Review sheets are exactly like the exam - most points get taken off for algebra. If you want an A you just need to put in work but it's possible

Do yourself a solid and choose Kari as your Prof. she gives two super easy weekly quizzes which go a long way in boosting your overall grade. Tests are super straight forward, simple and easy. if you don't at least get an A- it would be your own fault. Also, she is chill on the web assign (2 short tasks per week)

Shaw is God's gift to Calculus! Honestly the best professor I've had this semester. Lots of examples in class which can be boring but they reflect homework and quiz questions, so they're helpful! This is the first time I've consistently done well in a math course. Go to her office hours and email her, she will help guide you to success. THE BEST!
