I agree with the other people, you need to pay attention and study the book and his notes. However, he has no personal idea of what criminal justice is or how they operate. He has never had any hand to hand expereince like other professors had in the field of CRJ. He is what you call a book worm, he has no personal exposure to the field.

Great Prof, most students who rate him poorly are slackers! He goes verbatim from his class notes and the text book(looks for specific answers on exmas...stay away from opinions...strictly FACTS). Once you are an active student(mentally that is), there is no reason why you shouldnt get an A.

this is teacher makes his test way to hard. i busted my ass for a c- and my gpa was an 3.6 before. you have to read the book and take great notes and cover ever aspect on his test and he gives you what he feels you should get. because the test are essay and he wont give you an A

he is one of the best professor you could find in SJU. Very nice guy. All you have to do is listen to him in class, do the work and you will be fine. Don't sleep in his class. I took him for 2 semesters.......really good.u learn a lot.
