Comment:

I did not enjoy her as a teacher for many reasons. First, she taught 3 sections a day, and rushed through all the material she gave out. Not explaining anything very well. Second, We were given a quiz every class period and I was never allowed to finish, she would just stand over my table telling me to hurry up. It was rushed and non-productive

Karen was great. She laid everything out so you knew exactly what to expect. She gave incentive points for showing up and staying in class. She also gave extra credit opportunities. Sometimes questions on the tests were a little tricky and unclear. She was always willing to help you in whatever way she could. She's also a very nice person.

Mrs. Burrell is an outstanding teacher who truly cares about her students. She is always willing to help, and it is obvious she enjoys what she does. One of the best and kindest professors I have had.

She was very helpful. Some people complained but they were the ones that missed classes or didn't do their homework. Because homework not graded. But it was practice and let you know what you didn't understand by doing it. She was willing to help at anytime and answer any question. Very good and very fair. Everything is laid out in syllabus.

I had Professor Karin Burell for a night class, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9:30 pm. Although I understand that it was her last class of the day, that does not give her an excuse to not teach her students any of the material. This was my first college class ever, and she gave me a horrible first impression of GRCC.

she is very helpful in calcu but i wanna to give you some ideas. you need to be carefully on her test, but her test was not harder.she had a quizz everyday to help you understand the section. that is the good deal to. i recommend you in her class. she is very horrible teacher i have ever had. she can't even teach the class and she make mistakes everyday. she the worse math teacher ever. i don't even know how she got her degree. she doesn't even know how to do calculus let alone teach the class. if you have her class i suggest you drop it. she only know lower level material like algebra .

She is well organized and finds alternate ways to explain problems. She is fair, patient and extremely kind. I was consistently there until at least 9:45PM, sometimes later (class ended at 10PM) every test day finishing my test. She never said a thing about it. If you have problems with math, SEEK THIS TEACHER out. I enjoyed this class!
