I had him for MA 125, and I was "mathematically illerate" before I took the course. I learned more math from him in 10 weeks than I did in 4 years of high school. One of the best professors (if not THE BEST) I have ever had in my life (and I am a professor for a living). Take him, and you will love him.

Comment:

Very interested in his subject, and an enthusastic teacher is usually a better one. Tries to bring in historical examples and brainteasers into the theory/proofs class. Some parts of the course were a bit shaky, but for a pilot class, that's expected. He seemed very willing to give out-of-class help to those who asked.
